Project Pride SRQ would like to request the honor of your presence at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the installation of the Pride Walk & Street Mural at the intersection of Cocoanut Avenue & 2nd Street.  This mural has been in the works for over a year and we are excited to have you join us for the official unveiling of this historic project.

 Meet the Artist 

Joey Salamon

Metro Detroit-based artist, Joey Salamon (b.1988, Lafayette, IN), combines eye-catching patterns, a rainbow color palate and repeating three-dimensional geometric shapes. Joey has created one of the largest Rainbow Street Murals in the world, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan clocking in at an impressive 7,000 sq.ft.
