OPINION: Floridians must unite to oppose anti-LGBTQ+ bills

"The bills flying through the Florida Legislature targeting the LGBTQ+ community are flawed proposals in search of a problem; they would waste taxpayer money and not tackle the real issues facing our state.

Similar to last year's anti-trans youth bill, many Florida lawmakers are abandoning conservative, small- government principles in favor of serving a buffet full of red meat that is designed to keep their base riled up. This includes attacking our children, who don’t even have the ability to vote these legislators out of office.
