Reproductive Rights March

Sarasota resident Sharon Masters said that she wanted to support women’s choice, as a transgender woman herself. Masters and a friend carried a large, white 10-foot sign reading “Trans women support choice” that drew dozens of selfies as the massive crowd continued to swell just prior to the march.

“I feel like the patriarchy is spending too much time trying to police women and their bodies,” Masters said. “Just as a trans person, I will do what I will with my body, it’s women's choice to do what they will with their bodies.”
