We’re grateful to Ken Shelin, longtime Sarasota community leader, LGBTQ+ advocate, and 2025 Gulf Coast Pride Grand Marshal, for sharing this video from Gulf Coast Pride.

This video captures the visibility, joy, resilience, and community spirit that have helped shape LGBTQ+ life in Sarasota and across the Gulf Coast. As Project Pride SRQ looks ahead, we remain committed to honoring the people, moments, and connections that helped make Pride possible — while continuing to build what comes next.
