Where do we begin?! What a whirlwind of a week from bringing in Artist Joey Salamon from Detroit Michigan to begin the installation and kick off the work with the Artist Meet & Greet hosted by Hotel Indigo, a week long painting project with over 30 volunteers, a fabulous brunch hosted at Sage for major donors, and the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to open the PrideWalk which despite the unexpected rainy weather the mayor, commissioners, school board members, and the police chief all were in attendance!
None of this would be possible without the support we have received from the community, our sponsors, our Board of Directors, and Artist Joey Salamon. We hope the Project PRIDE SRQ PrideWalk brings a smile to everyone who sees its face!
